Comfortable super king ensuite in Malahide Guest Rooms

Lovely home away from home in a great location Positive: Lovely friendly staff who were very accommodating. Great communication and friendly towards us and our little girl. Spacious rooms which were clean and well presented with everything we needed including toiletries, plenty of towels etc which is ideal when trying to travel light! Earplugs were also provided which was considerate. Lots of storage space is also a bonus and room cleans provided regularly during our stay. Would recommend for anyone planning to travel with children as there are toys/books/games which is lovely and children are made to feel welcome by the staff. Option for cribs etc. Great location close to the DART, town centre and malahide castle, lots of lovely restaurants /pubs in town and lovely garden centre nearby also. Negative: Our only suggestions are some minor cosmetic improvements which are simple to rectify. To cover up residual wall plugs visible in the bathroom walls, fix the uncovered plug socket in the wardrobe, less reliance on extension leads in the room and sort out the runner on the wardrobe which was at risk of derailing! Also a new curtain track!

Positive: The location is great and Tia was the perfect host. Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Communal and kitchen areas were good. Negative: Sound proofing between rooms is very poor, bathroom is basic and location is not great.

Unfortunately we only spent a quick overnight but Tia’s warm welcome & making our every need filled was a joy. She Positive: Beautifully manicured cozy cottage feel. Flowers & flower boxes were lovely. All the comforts of home inside.

Positive: Besonders schön war die überaus freundliche und persönliche Begrüßung durch Tuija. Die Lage war perfekt für unsere Ausflüge, ob zu Fuß, mit der Bahn oder dem Auto. Gut war, das wir die Küche und den Wohnraum mit nutzen durften und nicht nur auf unser Zimmer angewiesen waren. Negative: Die Einrichtung des Zimmers und des Bades war etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
